Ideas for yearbook themes Sights Of Fall

I Cameron Mckeon will be creating a page for the yearbook with the title “ New Start”. This page will include seven images which will reflect the difficulties of a new student coming into an unfamiliar school and dealing with the frustrations of the first few days. I will set up these photos and direct my friends during am lunch and after school to illustrate such events as finding my locker, getting bumped around in the hallways, finding my bus, too many books, making new friends, lunch problems etc. I will use my friend Eric will photograph these situations with them and with their consent. I plan to have these images by Friday oct 29.

Make over

So this is the make over  that I did of myself. I personally think its a bad picture but anyways. I started by messing with the different protocols until I liked what I saw. then used the channel mixer to make it a monchrome/grayscale. I then spot healed and clone stamped used the surface blur then saved as a jpeg easy as that :)

September Light Project

This is the image I chose for the September Light Project.  I started by identifying what is in the rule of thirds area. I guess I am the main focus inside the image because I am staring right at the camera. Eric is the other "subject" in the image and he seems to be staring at me. As for the protocols I started by cropping Courtney out of the image because she did not want to be in the photo.  I then  burned the sky a little to give it a more "shadowy" effect. I then followed that by Grayscaling and turning the image into a duotone. I created a background copy of the image and playing with the contrast to darken the edges. I found that this made the image look like an old photo. overall I think that this was a good image to use for this project.
